Handcrafted in the USA

Single Circle Shawl Pins $40
Single Leaf Shawl Pins $40
Wavy Shawl Pins $40
Oval Shawl Pin $50

How to wear the shawl pin:
Slip the hook through one loop, through your garment layers, then out and through the second loop
Push the hook till it locks into the first loop and the pin will hold securely.
The finer the fabric, the more you should gather in the pin. The hook is made with a soft, ballpoint end to slip through fabrics without snagging or splitting fibers.

Stick Pins $28

Simple and elegant these stick pins are a lovely solution for closure or decoration.
The stem’s wavy design holds the pins in place through several layers of fabric.
They are lightweight and work well with fine fabrics as well as heavy garments..

Happy Buttons 1” each $10 1 ½” each $14
Happy Buttons

The large buttons come with a tiny cotter pin that acts as a temporary clip. The shanks on these buttons will slip through many knit and woven fabrics and then you can slide the clip on the back.
Try using them to decorate a hat, sweater or one of those wonderful cozy cowls. Mix it up and have fun! If you sew these button onto a garment please make sure to hand wash it or remove the buttons before machine washing or dry cleaning. Polymer clay does not like dry cleaning chemicals (who does?).

  Design and manufacturing:

The Shawl Pins are designed and handmade by Bonnie Bishoff. They feature colorful inlays of polymer clay in white bronze and lead free pewter settings. The hooks are also made in the USA, of Nickel Silver, exclusively for Bonnie’s designs. The Stick Pins as well as the Shawl Pin settings were originally fabricated by Bonnie in sterling silver and then cast in New England. The buttons are created by Bonnie as well with multiple layers of polymer clay around metal shanks.

About the Artist:
Bonnie has been collaborating with her partner J.M. Syron, since 1987, designing and building one of a kind and limited edition studio furniture. They exhibit their work at high end galleries, craft shows such as the Smithsonian Craft Show and museum exhibits across the country including the Museum of Art and Design in NY and the Fuller Craft Museum in MA. Their furniture features veneers of polymer clay and carved surfaces and sculptural elements. From this Bonnie began to combine her carving skill with metal working and polymer clay to create one of a kind jewelry. Most recently she created a line of shawl pins on the request of her mother in law, Barbara Jones, a talented fiber artist. The design and functionality of these pins have grown over the last several years and are now available in yarn and needlework stores around the country.
