The Wonderful Black-eyed Susan are a species of wild flowers found everywhere here in Maine. they wink and dance along roadsides and forest borders and fields. This one can be peaking out from around a door frame or in the corner of a room. Partially visible,  it leaves room for you to imagine what else is not seen. Is there a giant garden around the corner ? This wall sculpture is made from polymer clay veneers. The patterns are  created with a millefiori technique and composed and assembled with our own unique form of polymer marquetry.The flower and separate leaf are each mounted to a maple plywood  backing and can be hung in a variety of compositions on French cleats, attached to the back of the panels.
