Queen Annes Lace-triple flower
Queen Annes Lace-triple flower
What would it look like if you were the chickadee in my garden, hopping along looking for seed - or maybe a very young person looking at this flower in wonderment? Wildflowers, weeds, pervasive, persistent, resilient, intricate adaptable survivors. Be present to see the beauty in the common. Each living thing is intrinsically important and more complex than we can imagine. Perhaps our inside dwellings can reflect more of the outside world. Maybe we humans are not as significant as we think. How can we be reminded to find a balance? This wall sculpture is made from polymer clay veneers. The patterns are created with a millefiori technique and composed and assembled with our own unique form of polymer marquetry. The flowers, over 6 ft tall, are each mounted to a maple plywood backing and can be hung in a variety of compositions on French cleats, attached to the back of the panels. This wall sculpture is created in components so it can be shipped flat and is easily installed on your wall. Shipping arrangements will be made with customer and charged separately after sale of item.
