The calm observant fox waits to see what is unfolding. We encountered these beautiful creatures in our yard and on the back road by our home.

The fox rests surrounded by the rainbow of flora of our mid-coast woodlands- Sumac, Rosa Rugosa, Viburnum and Cinnamon Fern. I often wonder where they are on any given day or night. Quiet steps, watching, moving with ease and knowledge - slipping through the evergreens .
